Explain the EF and additional charges such as Account Maintenance Fee

Explain the investments that the plan holds or makes

Fully obtain and correctly interpret KYC information

Ensure suitability and affordability of the purchase

Recommend suitable product and contribution schedule

Mention 60 day cooling off period

Ask the leverage question directly or indirectly

State any projections used and corresponding assumptions made

Hand an approved business card to the client

Use current version of the approved material

Not compare the plans to competitor’s plans or mutual funds

Deliver presentation/saving guide and RDI

Provide appropriate disclosures to the client

Hand client copies of the documents to the client

Verify the client’s identification

Conduct the business in a professional manner

Presentation must comply with CSTC Code of Ethics
